Kasetsart University Student Exchange Program (KUSEP)

This program is designed for students who like to gain experiences in international education especially
in the area of International Business and Thai Culture.
International students who meet the following conditions are eligible to apply for KUSEP:
Student must enroll as a full-time student in his/her home university.
KUSEP requires students to be proficient in English. Proof of English proficiency may be requested for non-native English speakers.
Upon admission to KUSEP, the student will hold an exchange student status. He/she will receive a student ID card and will have the same rights and responsibilities as other regular KU students. Upon completion of the study, certificate of completion will be awarded and an official transcript of record will be mailed to each student later on.

IELTS with a minimum of 5.5 points/ TOEFL with a minimum of 500 points/ a proof of English Certificate from the University are preferable.
VISA Information for KUSEP Students
Recommendation for applying VISA (for exchange students)
1. NOT to go abroad during 3 months, apply for 3 months non immigrant ED VISA.How ever, you need to go abroad once before the expired date. Then come back to Thailand by plane, you will get 1 months renewal.
2. NOT to go abroad during 3 months, apply fro 3 months non immigrant ED VISA. But you really don't want to go anywhere, please contact ISC office to make a formal letter and pay 1,900 THB at the immigration bureau to extend your VISA.
3. To go abroad several times during 3 months, apply for 3 months non immigrant ED VISA
3.1 Go abroad less than 3 times, apply for single re-entry. (Pay 1,000 THB each time)
3.2 Go abroad more than 3 times, apply for multiple re-entry.(Pay 3,800 THB once)
This is to keep your VISA valid, Than, before the expired date, come back to Thailand by plane, you will get 1 month renewal.
4. To stay in Thailand longer than study period or plan to get back to Thailand within one year, apply for 12 months non-immigrant ED VISA. But need to go abroad every three months.
Student Life in KU
| - Kasetsart University Uniform : All KUSEP students are required to wear KU uniforms in all off offcial events, activities and during classes. Students can purchase the uniforms at the "Frist Meeting Day" for each semester, and they are required to wear it since the orientation. Or you can prepare the shirt and pants before you arrived Thailand becuase the size is different with your country.

Students will be able to enroll 3 - 7 courses including the courses from the host faculty and also the courses which do not belongto their host faculty in 5 International Programs (bachelor’s level) as follows.

Summer School (KUSS)
This program is designed for students who would like to gain international classroom experiences while exploring Thai culture from one of Thailand’s top universities.

- Health Insurance 800 Baht/month
- Accommodation rate at hotel named “KU home” in campus is 1,200 THB/night or apartment near by campus is 8,000 THB/month
Pick up Schedule ISC will arrange 3 shuttles pick-up and drop off service at Suwannabhumi Airport for free of charge, but for special arrangement, students have to pay 500 Baht per trip.

Thai conversational skills in various situations in everyday life.

Development, benefits, and practice of camping and outdoor recreation. Camp management and learning activities, such as safety and sanitation as well as Thai cooking.
01175113 Thai Boxing (TB) 1 credit
To provide students with knowledge and understanding of the development of life skills both of physical and mental that influence healthy lifestyle by holistic health promotion process and use Thai boxing activity as learning media
01173342 Health & Thai Wisdom (HTW) 3 credits
Principles and concepts of Thai wisdom on health. An integration of Thai wisdom for health care, including, Thai tradition massage, Thai herbs, yoga, and Thai cooking. Field trip required.
01240496 Selected Topic in Architecture (STA)3 credits
Choose one topic from :
Design for Food - You can contain the arts in Thai cuisine to be more valuable. Based your design from architecture, art, instrument and gastronomy.
Upcycling - Know how to change the trash to be the money by arts.
Handicraft Product Study - Provide with knowledge and understanding of Thai handicraft. Practice to design the real handicraft.
